Created February 1, 1995 to act as the parent company and to tie all operating companies into one, Vector Industries is responsible for direction and the internal environment of the group. Vector Industries is recognized as one of Western Canada's leading refrigeration and mechanical service companies. The company employs approximately 200 people and is organized into several operating entities.

Vector Industries has consciously developed a range of products and services that share strong technical links. The market coverage is diverse to the point of security from any one or even any group of competitors. In addition, the balance between new products and installations and repair/retrofit work, provides comfortable protection from economic tide.

Canadian Boiler Industries Inc. is the exclusive Alberta and Saskatchewan Sales, Parts and Service representative for Cleaver-Brooks Boilers, North America's largest manufacturer of packaged steam and hot water boilers. CBI offers superior factory knowledge and experience second to none when it comes to Boilers, Direct Contact Water Heaters, Pumps, Water Treatment, and related boiler room equipment.

'Providing World Class Artificial Ice Services'

Commercial Refrigeration Inc. has been involved in the Sport and Recreational Ice industry for 35 years and has completed over 300 installations. It has grown from a basic refrigeration service company to a leader in the artificial ice industry. The majority of the business is in design, installation, and service of Sport and Recreational Artificial Ice Equipment. At present, the Company is looking after the interests of approximately 100 artificial ice surfaces for private owners, cities, towns, and communities throughout North America.

At present, most of the company'sinvolvement is in the U.S. Market. Commerical has also completed projects in Japan, Russia, Scotland and New Zealand.

'Our Flagship in the Vector Fleet'

The flagship of our group is the Edmonton operation of Gateway Refrigeration Ltd., with over 35 years of community history and a reputation for customer satisfaction. The business is divided into several divisions driven by customer needs and technologic specialization.

The Calgary operation focuses on business in the southern half of Alberta. Now nearing 15 years old, the Calgary operation found its roots in commercial refrigeration service and installations heavily directed by supermarket chains.

'A Proud History - a Bright Future'

Pace Industrial Refrigeration Ltd. has been servicing clients for 20 years. Pace started as a small service company and has grown into a much broader organization that now provides construction, service and design build services for the food, beverage, petrochemical, and oil & gas industries. Founded in 1984 as a heavy industrial refrigeration service company, Pace joined the Vector Group in 1993 and is supported by Vector Industries systems. Revenue is growing at a steady pace and service customer satisfaction is very high. Pace focuses on the oil and gas industry and process plants such as food, meat, chemical and plastics.

In 1988, Rainbow Refrigeration Ltd. was incorporated in Vernon B.C. by Breck Sinclair and Mel Zabolotniuk. In 1996 Rainbow brought Glacier Refrigeration, a company in Salmon Arm, into its family. The two divisions service a large geographical area including: Sicamous, Revelstoke, Lumby, Winfield and the area between Vernon and Salmon Arm. In 2001 Rainbow Refrigeratin joined the Vector Group with Breck Sinclair continuing as the General Manger.

In 2003, Altair Refrigeration Ltd. of Nanaimo joined the Vector group of Companies. Altair Refrigeration Ltd. is a registered refrigeration/air conditioning, gas fitting, and electrical contractor. The staff has over 100 years of collective experience, offering 24/7 service, employing 9 full time journeyman mechanics.  Specific services include building heating, ventilating, air conditions systems management control, indoor air quality assessment and surveys, heat pump technology, industrial refrigeration and marine refrigeration.

In 2003, Ammonia Master Refrigeration of Winnipeg joined the Vector group of companies.
